Coach Lisa Menninger
Lisa has educated and inspired hundreds of people ages 12-83 for the past 14 years as a corporate speaker, personal trainer, and athletic coach. In addition to her personal training clients and athletes (triathletes, runners, and cyclists), she has brought her message and experience to corporations, associations, non-profits, clinics, schools, and athletic groups. Lisa is an ACE certified personal trainer and coach.
As an elite athlete, Lisa has competed at that level in running and cycling, and was a pro duathlete. A veteran of more than 25 marathons and ultra marathons with many top 5 finishes, Lisa also ran the 2nd fastest 50K time for a woman in the US in 2006. She has a national record of consecutive wins, winning the 30 year-old Lake Run 12k, a record 9 straight times, getting her 10th win this last year. Lisa holds course records in road racing from the mile through the 50k, and set her best times as an athlete after 40.* Lisa also has 2 Illinois state power lifting records in her age and weight class. As a duathlete, Lisa placed second at the National Long Course Championships for the half iron duathlon and has finished in the top three of all duathlons she has competed in since 2005. All of this combines to give her years of expertise in a variety of settings, which facilities her efficacy as a teacher, trainer and coach.
