Winter Running January-April 2012

Did you work hard this past summer and want to keep your fitness?  Is 2012 the year you are going to start running?  Do you want to train for a winter race?  Do you want to keep winter weight off this year?  If you answered yes to any of these questions, then come and train at The Runner’s Soul Winter Running Program!   This program is for walkers AND runners, exercise beginners and exercise fiends. We want you to stay active this winter! No need to whine about the weather!

Spend the winter staying fit, so when spring comes, you are READY TO GO!  We’ll keep you focused and get you through another Chicago winter healthier, faster and better than ever!  Throughout the program we will guide you on the proper winter running apparel, the art of layering, cold weather muscle warm-up and stretching, core strengthening, safety in dark and slippery running conditions, and tips for cold weather fuelling and hydration.

Each participant receives individualized coaching toward your personal goal, The North Face Impulse 1/2 Zip and a 10% discount on all store items (excluding sale items).

Winter Running Elmhurst with Coaches Dave and Judy Palkow
January 9 – April 11
14-week program meets two days per week:  $84
Group runs meet Mondays and Wednesdays at 6:30 pm, at The Runner’s Soul, Elmhurst.  If you’d like to add a day, join us for our complimentary Saturday Soul Runs, which meet at 9:00 am.

Winter Running La Grange with Coach Lisa Menninger– Daytime!
January 10 – April 14
14 week program meets three days per week: $140
Group runs meet Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 10 am, and Saturdays at 8:30 am, at The Runner’s Soul, La Grange In store registration only.  Cash or checks.
